Using Flixr
Flixr helps you find films and TV to watch. You can browse without an account, but rating, saving, joining groups and clubs, and posting need one. You must be at least 13, and you're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't use the app to break the law, harass anyone, or interfere with the service, and follow the community guidelines below.
Your content
Your ratings, lists and anything you post stay yours, and you choose who can see your ratings and watch history in Settings > Privacy. You give us permission to store and display them as needed to run the app — for example, showing a review you chose to publish. We can remove content that breaks these terms.
Community guidelines
Reviews, replies, lists and profiles can be seen by other people, so keep them decent. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post or share:
- hate speech, harassment, bullying or threats;
- sexually explicit material, or anything that sexualises or endangers children;
- content that promotes violence, self-harm or illegal activity;
- spam, scams, or impersonation of another person;
- other people's private information, or anything you don't have the right to share.
You can report any review, reply or person from within the app, and block anyone from their profile — blocking hides you from each other in both directions. We review reports and aim to act on them within 24 hours. Where a report is upheld we remove the content, and we can restrict posting, suspend or permanently close the account responsible.
Film and TV data
Metadata and artwork come from TMDB. Streaming availability is provided as a guide and can be out of date or wrong for your region — always check with the service itself.
Availability
We aim to keep Flixr running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features.
Ending your use
You can stop using Flixr, and delete your account from within the app, at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk — without notice where the breach is serious.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Flixr is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially we'll say so in the app before the change takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. That doesn't take away any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
